Lenovo President spotted wearing a new and unknown Motorola device.

The Moto 360 is perhaps the most well-known Android smartwatch. A successor is inevitable, though leaks have been limited thus far. However, the successor may not be far off and it seems Lenovo President Chen Xudong may know more about it than the rest of the world.

The new image shows Xudong wearing a new unannounced Motorola smartwatch. The original Moto 360 has been available for almost a full year and an update is essentially due. It appears that the new model may not have a fully round display a la the original Moto 360 with its cut bottom, so users hoping for a completely round screen like the LG G Watch R may be in for a disappointment. The cut portion of the screen on the new Moto 360 could be due to the placement of sensors and internal hardware.

While there are no official technical specifications or information on the Moto 360 refresh, a full reveal is looking more and more likely in the coming weeks.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
