New Samsung Z3 images leak online

Samsung Z3 Tizen OS smartphone and Samsung Z1
Samsung Z3 vs Z1
The handset did not arrive at the Tizen Developer Summit as expected, but it looks like the official reveal is really close now.

Samsung made it clear last month that they are "betting big" on larger screens. Back then, the company announced the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+, both high-end devices. Now it looks like their cheap Tizen OS-powered handsets get the same treatment - the successor of Samsung Z1, namely Samsung Z3, is taller and wider than its predecessor.

While Samsung Z3 did not show up on the market yet, it will probably show up soon. Two images posted on Twitter by Tizen Cafe show the Z3 next to a Z1. The information that made it online via various rumors and an FCC listing reveals that Samsung Z3 will have a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a modest resolution given its size (only 1,280X720 pixels), while its specs list includes a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7730S chip, 1.5 GB of memory, a 5 MP front camera and one 8 MP image snapper on the back, all powered by a 2600 mAh battery.

The handset will offer dual-SIM support and should ship loaded with Tizen 3.0. First countries to get it are India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Unfortunately, it seems the Samsung Z3 had to face delays just like its predecessor. We will get back to it as soon as it gets official so stay tuned.
