ASUS has been quite busy at Computex 2013, and they've now introduced a successor to their popular Zenbook Prime Ultrabook. With a lid and palm rest completely covered by Corning Gorilla Glass, a pre-production model of the new Zenbook Infinity was unveiled today at Taipei.
With a thickness of around 15mm and a 13.3" panel with a brilliant 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and 300 nits of brightness, ASUS was well in their right to hide the beauty behind a glass dome. The Infinity also weighs in at less than 1.4KG and its aluminum chassis comes in a new dark gray finish.
Of course, the Zenbook Infinity isn't just beauty with no brains, as it will pack up to two SSDs, a 28W ULV Haswell chip with Intel Iris graphics and 4-5 hours of battery life.
Other details of the Ultrabook weren't immediately made available at the company's press conference, but an official launch is expected for some time in Q3/Q4 2013.
