Motorola Moto Watch Fit 27 launches with Polar features
The Moto Watch Fit ($90 on Amazon) from 2025 is finally getting a successor. The new Moto Watch Fit 27, which is water-resistant to 5 ATM, features a slightly more distinctive design with a flat aluminum frame and digital crown, and promises modern features as well.
Motorola equips it with a rectangular 1.85-inch gOLED display with 2-millimeter bezels that reaches a brightness of up to 1,500 nits. The display is protected against scratches by Gorilla Glass 3. Built-in speakers and microphones make it possible to make phone calls directly from the smartwatch, as long as the smartphone is within Bluetooth range. Following a future software update, the Motorola Qira AI assistant will also be available, provided the smartwatch is paired with a Motorola smartphone.
Motorola advertises a battery life of up to twelve days. The smartwatch has a heart rate and SpO2 sensor, and also supports menstrual cycle, sleep and stress tracking. More than 100 workouts are said to be detected automatically, so the corresponding program does not have to be started manually.
A GPS module records the distance covered while running or cycling. Motorola has worked with Polar to implement features such as a Running Index, daily activity goals, heart rate zones, calorie burn calculations, advanced sleep analysis (Nightly Recharge) and breathing exercises.
Pricing and availability
The Motorola Moto Watch Fit 27, which is also marketed as the Moto Watch 2 Fit in some regions, will launch in Europe and the U.S. the "coming weeks" at a recommended retail price of €119 ($134).
