Deal | Motorola Edge (2023) with 8/256 GB hits all-time low price once again
With more than 500 units sold in the last month on Amazon, the Motorola Edge (2023) is one of the interesting choices for US buyers looking for an affordable, unlocked 5G handset that features protection from dust and water ingress. The 8/256 GB version in Eclipse Black finish is now available on Amazon for $349.99, thanks to a 42% discount. However, it should also be considered that, while the list price reads $599.99, this handset reached an all-time high of $788.88 at the end of February 2024.
The Motorola Edge (2023) uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC and has a 6.55-inch 144 Hz OLED touchscreen. The 50 MP main camera has a wide aperture of f/1.4 and optical stabilization. In the audio department, this handset comes with Dolby Atmos multidimensional sound. Running Android 13 out of the box, the Motorola Edge (2023) comes with moto gesture controls and My UX personalization on top. The water and dust protection level complies with the IP68 requirements. Last but not least, the 4400 mAh battery sports 68 W TurboPower charging.
Sadly, any potential buyer should also be aware that there's only a USB cable in the retail package, without any kind of charger included. Support for extending the storage space with the help of a micro SD card is also lacking. However, the reviews of the 1,169 Amazon customers who rated this handset so far resulted in a 4.2-star general score, with 64% of the voters giving it a 5/5.
