While not officially available in the US, MSI’s first foray into the tablet market can now be found online at Simply Electronics. The WindPad 100W features a 10.1” Screen and Windows 7 Home Premium.
Powering the tablet is Intel’s Atom Z530 Processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 32GB SSD. The capacitive touch screen runs at a resolution of 1024 x 600 Pixels. The tablet also features an SD card slot, HDMI, a USB 2.0 Port, and front and rear facing cameras for video conferencing.
While most new tablets run Android’s OS; MSI has decided to stick with Windows 7 in hopes of servicing a different market. For prospective buyers, the exact price is $710.
