Reviews for the MSI Summit A16 AI Plus A3HMTG
The MSI model is now one of the fastest 16-inch convertibles in the market when it comes to processor performance. However, its lack of discrete graphics options holds it back against other major competitors like the HP Spectre x360 16.

The MSI Summit A16 AI+ (A3HMx) is a heft 2-in-1 laptop that offers solid build and very good performance. The Ryzen AI 9 365 sustains a 3.47 GHz / 2.65 GHz P and E core clock even in longer stress. So, you can use this gadget even for heavy workloads such as 3D rendering or video editing. Or you can play some CS2 rounds after work since the AMD Radeon 880M has enough power to deliver more than 200 FPS on Low details. The 1600p touchscreen (B160QAN02.N (AUO28B2)) is pretty impressive. It’s an IPS unit, and that’s why it lacks PWM usage. The screen sports 100% sRGB and 99% DCI-P3 coverage alongside perfect color accuracy if you apply our “Design and Office” profile. This display also gets very bright, reaching almost 500 nits when you bump the brightness to the maximum. The Summit A16 AI+ amazes with its premium build quality, transforming capabilities, long battery life, capable cooling, and nice input devices.

AMD Radeon 880M: A fairly powerful RDNA 3.5 architecture iGPU that debuted in June 2024 and a direct successor to the Radeon 780M. Its 12 CUs/WGPs (768 unified shaders) run at up to 2,900 MHz. DX12 Ultimate, ray tracing, AI image generation and other modern features are all supported here, as are many popular video codecs including first and foremost AVC, HEVC, VP9 and AV1. Its gaming performance is good enough for playing 2024 games such as Once Human and The First Descendant at 1080p on low graphics settings.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
