MSI P75 Creator 9SE-279DE
As you all know, gaming on laptops is something that is happening heavily in recent years. People are more interested in playing games on their laptops than having a static desktop solution maybe because of convenience reason or maybe because of something else. But what about other people that would also need the power of a gaming laptop without the looks? Those crazy RGB lightning, interesting shapes or god knows what. MSI must have thought about this and brings the Creator P series on to the table. With Creator P series, to my understanding the aim of MSI is to bring a powerful laptop in a more “normal” look. Does it make sense? To be honest, yes. I like playing games, but I don't want these extras. I like my laptops clean. Of course, you can keep those options closed, but still they don’t give you the feeling of clean usage. By clean, I mean simplicity. With Creator P series, this is possible. But on which cost? Well, in literal meaning, money. With P75 Creator 9 models, expect to have a budget of over 2,000 Euros. They are not cheap. But they bring in a really good amount of performance to the table. On the other hand, everything that has a high performance also has a high energy consumption. Especially with dedicated GPUs. The P75 is no exception. With the RTX 2070 Max-Q, you get a performance that will deliver, but also will hinder your mobility. We are talking about 4-5 hours of usage without an outlet. Compared to other ultra mobile laptops, which can deliver up to 15-20 hours of usage with a single charge, 4-5 hours is very small. On top of that, if you start using the full capacity, I am pretty sure, it will be even lower. Overall, the P75 Creator and other Creator P series laptops have a good purpose and a certain target group. Before making a purchase, you should decide what is more important for you. Is it the looks? Or mobility? Or price? Because gaming laptops with same configuration can be cheaper. On the other hand, with the same price you can find laptops that offer more mobility, but maybe without such powerful GPU. Price is definitely a deciding factor over here and your needs have to be aligned. If you have the budget, I don’t see any problems with purchasing this laptop. But if you are on a tight budget and still not sure about what you are looking for, I would suggest to continue looking a bit more. Hands-on article by Ümit Yılmaz GüneşSpecifications

80%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
