If you're looking to get the most out of gaming and graphically intense productivity tasks on the go, then you're probably in the market for a gaming laptop like the MSI Crosshair A16 HX E8WGK-009US ($2,699). Despite the impressive capabilities of phones and the rise of handheld PC gaming devices such as the Steam Deck, you still can't fully replace a laptop when it comes to being an absolute powerhouse thanks to its relatively large display and keyboard.

MSI: Micro-Star International (MSI) was founded in 1986 in Taiwan. MSI is especially known as a manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards for PCs, but also offers computer accessories, complete systems, motherboards, graphics cards, laptops, desktop PCs, monitors and other components. However, the Microstar brand name in Germany belongs to the Medion company. MSI is known for its gaming products and has developed a wide range of gaming laptops and desktop PCs. The company is also active in workstations, servers and industrial automation. MSI has offices in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
These graphics cards are able to play the latest and most demanding games in high resolutions and full detail settings with enabled Anti-Aliasing.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop: Mobile graphics card of the Blackwell family for laptops, which offers 4,608 shaders and 8 or 12 GB VRAM depending on the model.

AMD Dragon Range:
R9 8940HX: A flagship 16-core Dragon Range refresh lineup laptop processor that debuted in April 2025. The product offers 16 SMT-enabled Zen 4 cores (32 threads) running at 2.4 GHz to 5.3 GHz, along with a rather basic Radeon 610M RDNA 2 architecture iGPU. This Ryzen 9 8000 APU is essentially a Ryzen 9 7940HX with the Turbo clock speed increased by 100 MHz.
