Lucid to accelerate electric Gravity SUV deliveries in April 2025

Customers not affiliated with Lucid will soon start taking deliveries of their Gravity SUV orders. According to interim CEO Marc Winterhoff on LinkedIn, the EV startup will begin shipping off units to more reservation holders in late April 2025.

Winterhoff provided an update on the Gravity program, noting that public test drive and showroom display units are almost ready and will be followed by regular deliveries in April. "We have nearly completed building vehicles for studios and test drives and expect them to begin arriving at our locations across the US beginning in April. For early customers eagerly awaiting their Lucid Gravity delivery, we plan to begin delivering additional vehicles at the end of April."

The electric SUV entered production in 2024 in Arizona, with the initial deliveries going to staff members and others closely associated with the company. Lucid will hold a press launch for the car in April.

The seven-seat Gravity SUV is Lucid's second model after the Air sedan. It is available in the Grand Touring trim starting at $96,550 and offering up to 828 hp and 450 miles of driving range. It will come fitted with Tesla's NACS port, giving it access to the Supercharger network in the US. The automaker will release a cheaper Touring version before the end of 2025.
