New JumpDrive launches include the S50, V10, and S70 models

The CES 2011 has been more about latest notebooks and tablets based on the new Sandy Bridge chip. We shall now tell you about the latest JumpDrive USB 2.0 Flash Drives from the house of Lexar Media. The latest addition to the JumpDrive family comes in the form of the launch of the S50, V10, and S70 models in this CES.

Talking of the JumpDrive S70, this latest flash drive wears a retractable connector design with thumb slide and is available in capacities of 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Probably the most striking feature of this storage device is the software security suite it comes bundled with. The security software lets you password protect your desired files and also permanently delete files so that there are no traces of the file after deletion on the drive. The JumpDrive S50 on the other hand also wears a protective, sliding cover to protect the USB connector, and a data transfer LED indicator light. You can get one for yourself in capacities of 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Also there in the feature list is the Microban antimicrobial protection which restricts growth of bacteria and mold.
About the JumpDrive V10, it has a translucent cap that protects the USB and is available in different color versions specific to the storage capacity, i.e. light blue for 4GB, blue for 8GB, orange for 16GB, and white for 32GB.

No pricing or exact launch details are available as of now but Lexar hopes to start selling these all-new JumpDrives by Q1 of 2011.
