MWC 2013 | Lenovo unveils IdeaTab A1000, A3000 and S6000 budget tablets

Lenovo's latest budget-oriented lineup includes a pair of 7" devices and one 10" tablet.

MWC in Barcelona is going strong and Lenovo has announced their new lineup of budget tablets. All 3 devices should be available sometime in the 2nd quarter of 2013, but pricing and actual availability have yet to be released.

For starters, the IdeaTab A1000 and A3000 come in at 7" and both feature a 1024x600 pixel resolution. The A1000 will be available in black and white colors and will include Dolby Digital sound, a dual-core 1.2GHz MediaTek CPU, Android 4.2 and 16GB of storage with micro-SD expansion of up to 32GB.

On the other hand, the A3000 feature a quad-core MediaTek processor, 32GB of storage with up to 64GB of micro-SD expansion and weighs in at 340 grams. Both models also include optional 3G/HSPA+ capabilities.

Finally, the IdeaTab S6000 is Lenovo's 10" offering, with an 8.6mm thickness and an estimated weight of 560 grams. The same quad-core MediaTek CPU takes care of processing while the IPS panel features a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. According to Lenovo, the tablet also features a 6350 mAh battery, micro-HDMI, a built-in microphone and an optional HSPA+ module.
