Lenovo releases new design-related teasers for its upcoming Redmi Note 9 5G rivals

Lenovo is now hyping new phones to its Chinese fan community on Weibo. However, rather than something like the Legion Phone Duel, they seem to be pitched at the same market tier as the new Redmi Note 9 5G or 4G.

In fact, Lenovo has been targeting these newly-launched devices in its ads with some aggression. Its latest example appears to reiterate this position, while also teasing some relevant hardware features. The images in question show an increasingly standard iPhone-mimicking square rear camera.

Others hint strongly at a punch-hole camera (also present in the Note 9 5G) and what may be a button with either a special function or re-mapping support. The phones that will exhibit these specs are currently thought to have a product name with the number 6 in there somewhere, and to be about 3 in number.

Then again, nothing else is known about the devices, their connectivity, battery capacity, SoC and RAM  included. In addition, Lenovo has yet to announce a launch date for these mystery new phones. Therefore, it may be some time before it can be ascertained whether they will truly be Note 9 killers or not.
