Lenovo confirms global launch for new budget gaming monitor

A few months have passed since Lenovo unveiled the Legion 27Q-20 gaming monitor. Now, the company has added the IPS monitor to its Product Specifications Reference (PSREF) website with new information about its release.
For instance, PSREF confirms that the Legion 27Q-20 will receive a full global release, with regional variants listed for Africa, Asia Pacific, South Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and North America. The website does not provide a full breakdown of the countries where the monitor will be sold, though.
Setting that aside, the Legion 27Q-20 replaces monitors like Legion 27QD-10 (curr. $299 on Amazon) with a 1440p resolution and a 320 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the new monitor boasts 0.5 ms MPRT response times and VRR technologies to mitigate image tearing at high refresh rates. The Legion 27QD-10 is said to deliver 400 nits peak brightness too, for which it has received VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification.
On top of that, the monitor offers 95% DCI-P3 and 99% sRGB colour space coverages, as well as factory colour calibration to Delta E<2 using the sRGB colour space. The Legion 27Q-20 contains comparatively few ports, though. Specifically, Lenovo only installs dual HDMI 2.1 (TMDS) and single DisplayPort 1.4 ports, with no 3.5 mm jack or USB hub to speak of.
Currently, Lenovo is only selling the Legion 27Q-20 gaming monitor in China, full details of which we have covered separately. Previously, the company claimed that the 27-inch gaming monitor would arrive across the Eurozone and the US in January 2027 for €269 and $299.99, respectively. Please see its PSREF website for more details about the Legion 27Q-20.
