The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 gaming laptop is one of the most powerful gaming laptops currently on the market. Armed with an RTX 5080 laptop GPU and a 24-core Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, it is powerful enough to run AAA games at QHD/4K. The laptop has now recorded a big discount at B&H Photo.

We’ve been getting some pretty good gaming laptop deals lately, and we now have another one. After the Legion 5 OLED RTX 5070 gaming laptop offer that we reported on recently, B&H Photo has now discounted the high-end Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 with an RTX 5080 laptop GPU by a big 30.4%.

As a result, the RTX 5080-powered Legion Pro 7i is now only $2,449. Interestingly, this is the same pricing range as a recently discounted Stormcraft Phantom prebuilt RTX 5080 gaming PC.

Moving on to the specs, the Legion Pro 7i on sale combines the RTX 5080 with the flagship Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, 32 GB of DDR5-6400 memory, 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage, and a per-key RGB backlit keyboard. The display on offer is a 16-inch 1600p OLED panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and an advertised 500 nits of SDR brightness.

Other important specs include a large 99 Wh battery and all the ports you might need, except an SD card reader. It is quite puzzling that Lenovo didn’t include an SD card slot in the Legion Pro 7i, as the laptop is perfectly suitable for creative workloads.

On a similar note, the Legion Pro 7i is also not for people who want a light and portable laptop. At over 2.6 kg (5.8 lbs.) and with a 16-inch screen, the Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 is a chonker with a large footprint. It also comes with a bulky 400 W AC adapter. So, the Legion Pro 7i will be more at home on a table than inside your backpack.

That said, this added weight serves a good purpose: The Legion Pro 7i is a beastly performer. Our in-depth review of the laptop revealed blazing-fast performance in both gaming and non-gaming workloads. We also praised the OLED display due to its complete DCI-P3 coverage, almost 1,000 nits of HDR brightness, 240 Hz refresh rate, and sharp 1600p resolution.

We highly recommend checking out our full review, which also delves into areas where the Legion Pro 7i falters. For instance, the laptop can get very loud under loud, so you will need a good pair of headphones to enjoy your games (get one on Amazon).
