The Lenovo Ideapad U310 and U410 was seen first at CES just a couple of months ago. A few days back, the U310 was spotted at the FCC site prior to its release to the market. The Lenovo Ideapad U310 will weigh just 3.7 pounds and have modest dimensions of 13.1″ x 8.9″ x 0.7″. Its 13.3-inch display will have a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The laptop comes with 4GB of RAM, a 2.5-inch drive bay that holds a hard drive or a Solid State Disk and will have two USB 3.0 ports and a USB 2.0 port.
As for the Lenovo IdeaPad U410, this 14-inch Ultrabook will come with 8GB RAM, a 2.5" slot for either a 9.5mm drive or a 7mm drive, and a couple of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. The screen resolution, on the other hand, sticks at the same screen resolution as the one on the U310.
Ultrabooks have become a major part of the mobile PC industry and in time, it might replace the standard laptops that we see today. Despite starting out as premium, ultra-portable laptops that were expensive, we have been seeing some really affordable Ultrabooks being introduced by various manufacturers in the past couple of months.
