Lemfo has released a new smartwatch, the LES4, with 4G LTE connectivity. The company has based the smartwatch on the MediaTek MT6739, a rather outdated SoC, that it has paired with 1 GB of DDR3 RAM. These are supported by 16 GB of eMMC flash storage and power a 1.6-inch IPS display, that resolves at 400 x 400 pixels.
The LES4 runs Android 7.1 Nougat and has a nano-SIM card slot, which supports multiple LTE-FDD and TDD bands, along with GSM, WCDMA and TD-SCDMA ones. Naturally, the smartwatch also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Additionally, the LES4 has built-in GPS and a 5 MP camera.
According to Lemfo, the LES4 should last up to three days between charges. The smartwatch is IP67 rated, so it is not suited for use when swimming, but it has a ceramic bezel to protect it against scuffs and the like. The Lemfo LES4 is available from AliExpress for US$109.99.
