Firestone: Online Idle RPG Free Pack and Doodle Devil are currently available as free games for mobile on Epic Games Store. These will, however, expire on October 09, 2025, at 15:00 UTC, which will also refresh the free game section of the storefront.
Just a few hours ahead of the official announcement, MeguminShiro, a credible leaker, has shared what the upcoming refresh will offer. Per the leak, Epic Games Store will offer Double Dragon Trilogy as a free game for mobile from October 09 to October 16, 2025.
There could be more than one free game for mobile, but the leaker hasn't revealed any other freebies other than the one mentioned above. As for Double Dragon Trilogy, it's a compilation of three arcade games from the classic Double Dragon series.
The lineup includes Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2: The Revenge (1988), and Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta (1990). Among the three, the first one debuted in 1987, and soon after the launch, it became one of the most popular arcade beat 'em up games. With the launch of the trilogy, which happened in 2013, the developer team brought the three entries to modern platforms.
Of course, the modern launch still retains the original pixelated graphics of the first launches, offering a nostalgic feel. The soon-to-be free game on Epic Games Store also provides the option to choose between classic and modern remixed soundtracks. There's proper support for controllers as well (Backbone Pro curr. $135.99 on Amazon).
Double Dragon Trilogy generally goes for $2.99 on the App Store and $3.49 on the Google Play Store. However, from October 09, 15:00 UTC, it will be available as a free game on the Epic Games Store. Check out the video below to learn more.
