Leak reveals Apple’s next-gen headphones with IPX4 and fresh design

Apple’s next-generation over-ear headphones are expected to be officially unveiled in the coming days, as Reddit users were able to find several now-removed store listings, while MacRumors discovered an FCC certification for the headphones with the model number "A3577."
According to these findings, the Beats 360 feature a design inspired by the AirPods Max 2 ($429 on Amazon), with the wide headband featuring replaceable padding. The headphones can apparently be adjusted to any size. Two buttons on each side are likely to allow for control of music playback and volume. The Beats 360 are expected to be available in a variety of colors, including green, pink, light blue, light gray, and black.
Leaks from retailers have already revealed many details about the features. According to these leaks, the Beats 360 are Apple’s first over-ear headphones certified to IPX4 standards, making them resistant to rain and sweat. Active noise cancellation is said to be 75 percent more effective than on the Beats Studio Pro. The headphones support virtual surround sound with head tracking.
Apple touts "all-day" battery life, even with noise cancellation enabled, and compatibility with both the Apple iPhone and Android smartphones via the Beats app. Although the headphones cannot be folded, it is still possible to rotate the ear cushions 90 degrees for a more compact size during transport.
