As it usually happens with big launches that target both primary markets for LG, namely South Korea and the US, LG G5 has just become available in its home market one day ahead of the US.
LG G5 has a price of roughly $730 USD in South Korea, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7 flagship. According to ZDNet, this is the first time since 2013 when LG prices its flagship device at the same level as Samsung's top-of-the-line handset. Considering the unique specs of the new LG flagship, this does not come as a surprise. The semi-modular design and the accessories already available for it turn the new flagship into a "must have" for the customers looking to get the most flexible flagship on the market.
Depending on the price plan chosen and thanks to subsidies, the price of a LG G5 smartphone can go down to about $460 USD in South Korea. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820-powered flagship is available via local carriers SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus.
