Reviews for the LG W30

Tricky but the answer is no. The LG W30 is a decent phone, particularly if you want an impressive camera in a budget phone. It has good front and rear camera system and it captures some decent shots in the low-light conditions. Battery life is also good and it is likely to support you all day long without any hiccup. But its performance lets it down.

The strongest point of the LG W30 is its triple rear camera setup and looks like the LG W30 compromised on other parameters to deliver on the camera performance. The build of the LG W30 doesn’t impress, the performance is average, and the processor is simply not powerful enough to play graphics heavy games.

Priced at Rs 9,999, the W30 is LG's attempt to make a comeback in the Indian smartphone market. Although the phone offers a premium design and good battery, it lacks the performance and the camera output is satisfactory. It is hard to recommend this phone knowing its weaknesses, but you can consider the LG W30 if you need an affordable smartphone with premium design, decent cameras, good battery and stock Android operating system.

The LG W30 is a good-looking smartphone, which marred with weak performance. The phone comes with a premium look and the addition of stock Android experience is a welcome move. The device delivers a good battery backup, but that’s it about this smartphone. The performance is weak as compared to the rest of the competition and the camera result is quite average in our opinion. That said, if you are looking to buy the new LG W30, you check for the other options first.

The LG W30 does have some redeeming qualities though. It's built well and looks good, has a vivid display (albeit with a low resolution), and offers superb battery life. However, since it's only available through flash sales right now, it's not going to be easy to buy. We think you'd be better served with phones such as the Redmi Note 7S (Review) or even the Realme U1 (Review), which are much easier to buy and also happen to be better all-round options.

After a long time, LG made a comeback with its new W series smartphones, the three new smartphones launched in India – W10, W30, and W30 Pro. We got the LG W30, an affordable segment smartphone having triple cameras on the back and a notch on its display and it’s priced Rs 9,999.

The LG W30 is the more interesting of the duo, thanks to its three rear cameras and appealing design. However, we'll save our verdicts about both LG W series phones for the in-depth reviews, in which we will test aspects such as camera output, performance, and battery life.

The new smartphone from LG comes loaded with an interesting design language and the display seems to be decent. You get a stock Android experience, which is a good thing and the battery should ideally last one full day. The cameras need to be tested out in different light conditions and the hardware seems to be a bit underdog. As for the competition is concerned, the smartphone will face stiff competition from the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, Realme U1, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and more.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
