Reviews for the LG G4c
I'd love to be a flagship. LG shrinks its LG G4 to 5-inches and an RRP of 279 Euros (~$306). The new G4c model sports a quad-core SoC from Qualcomm, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB internal storage, NFC, and LTE Cat. 4. Android 5.0.2 Lollipop is preloaded. The downgrade results in a good smartphone that will, however, always be in its big brother's shade.

The LG G4c gives a great first impression. With a very comfortable design, unique look and a nice screen, using it is a pleasure for the first day or so. As more apps are installed, and the paltry internal memory makes its presence felt, things can become a little slow. Yet, with a powerful speaker, a decent rear-facing camera, great battery life, a capable processor and many little usability enhancements, the G4c is designed with comfort in mind. For the average user, it will prove to be more than adequate. And yet for the price point, there are better options available.

The LG G4c has a reasonable camera and a fantastic battery life, but when it's competing alongside the likes of Sony’s Xperia M4 Aqua, the Samsung Galaxy A3 and 3rd Gen Moto G, its poor screen, small amount of storage and mediocre performance simply doesn’t measure up. It's not terrible but it's distinctly below average. For me, the 3rd Gen Moto G continues to be my preferred budget handset, but those after an even better bargain are much better off buying the £125 Vodafone Smart Ultra 6.

The LG G4c is a 5-inch 720p phone sold at a slight premium over the growing range of similar phones like the Moto G 4G and Vodafone Smart Prime 6. However, it doesn’t have any serious benefits while also suffering from some pretty irritating lag. Performance issues and a relatively high price make this a disappointing mid-range Android.

The LG G4c is a seriously stripped back, affordable version of the G4 which manages to keep most of the useful features we know and love. It’s more easily handled than the G4 and the 720p screen is still solid, but the odd performance stutter and occasionally frustrating camera detract from the overall experience.

Model: The LG G4c, also known as G4 compact, is a smaller and less powerful version of the famous bigger sibling, the LG G4. This device looks rather unique with its curved design and its slightly curved display. The back is finished with a nice diamond shape design, which came from its older sibling, the LG G4. The colors available are Metallic Gray, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold. The 5.0 inch IPS LCD display is, as mentioned before, is slightly curved, which is an advantage, when you put your phone screen facing down, since only the edges are touched and the screen is protected. The buttons are placed behind the phone instead of the usual position on the side of the phone. Unlike conventional smartphone, the G4c does not have any capacitive key.
The camera is fitted with an 8 MP camera with a resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera. The internal hardware consist of a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 processor (Quad-core 1.2/1.3 GHz Cortex-A53), Adreno 306 Graphics and 1 GB of RAM. It's not as powerful as its bigger sibling, but this doesn't mean that it is a weak phone by any means. It's still a quite, powerful phone and can be categorized as mid-range smartphone. The battery is a Li-Ion 2540 mAh battery. This smartphone is targeted towards less power hungry customers and it's more for someone who wants a decent phone which comes in a reasonable price range and still can handle everyday web surfing and light games with ease.
Qualcomm Adreno 306: Integrated mid-range graphics card in the Snapdragon 410 SoCs that supports OpenGL ES 3.0 and features unified shaders.
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.

This display is tiny. You will probably see very little on the screen and be able to use mini-resolutions.

69.29%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
