If anybody expected the first 3D tablet on the market to be cheap, they were definitely mistaken. T-Mobile has finally released the pricing for the LG G-Slate, and it’ll set you back at least a good $500 not including the two-year contract.
According to the press release: “The T-Mobile G-Slate will cost $529.99 after $100 mail-in-rebate card with a qualifying mobile broadband plan on two-year agreement, voice line and enrollment in EasyPay.”.
The G-Slate comes with a Tegra 2 Processor, Android Honeycomb, an 8.9” screen and is the first tablet to feature a pair of stereoscopic cameras on the back that allow for 3D video recording. While the 3D viewing on the tablet requires special glasses, it’s a neat feature to have nonetheless. The tablet should also have 4G capabilities and will be connected to T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network.
