LG G-Slate price drops significantly, starts now at $399 with contract
The LG G-Slate was one of the first tablets to run Honeycomb when it came out, and looked like a true competitor to the iPad with a brilliant 8.9” display panel with native resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, 1GHz dual-core processor, Android 3.0, full HD 1080p video recording capability, 9 hours of promised battery life and these all encased in only 620gms. But the main problem was the price. The price-point of $700 for a G-Slate without the contract, or $529.99 with contract was much higher than what you get an iPad for. This, coupled with a slew of cheaper and more interesting newer tablets, made T-Mobile rethink about the price-point as it dropped down to $399.99 with contract and $599.99 without contract.
