Is the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 the new camera reference?
The specs of the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 sound very good: A 108-megapixel camera has not yet been available in any mobile phone. In addition, there are three other lenses that provide different zoom levels and a dedicated macro lens. Oh, and there's also a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
But of course, we don't allow ourselves to be impressed by numbers and advertising promises and have taken a close look at the camera in our big test of the Xiaomi Mi Note 10. We found that the camera can actually do a lot, and that this year's flagship models will have to make a big effort to set themselves apart in this area: The Mi Note 10 is namely available for cheap 499.99 Euros (~$557) at Amazon, so it also offers a excellent price-performance ratio.
Also the huge battery, which allowed runtimes of almost 19 hours in our Wi-Fi test, and the corresponding fast charging technology with up to 30 watts of power are definitely worth a purchase recommendation.
With all the positive aspects, however, we do'nt forget to mention the aspects that we liked less about the Mi Note 10: The slightly high weight, the short warranty period and the mediocre call quality can be mentioned here, for example. Also, the case doesn't have an IP certification, and some high-end features, such as wireless charging, are missing. In addition, processor performance can't quite keep up with more expensive smartphones.
For many buyers, however, these are likely to be negligible weaknesses, as our review has shown. Our review explains in detail why both photo fans and audiophile nostalgics get their money's worth with the Xiaomi Mi Note 10. By the way: A detailed photo comparison to high-end smartphones is naturally already in the making.
