Ideapad 100 is a new cheap laptop from Lenovo
Lenovo has just launched its new, highly affordable laptop, the ideapad 100. Sporting „up to” Intel N3540 (BayTrail-M) processor (no specifics on other CPU models) with integrated Intel HD Graphics, the device comes in two screen sizes, 14-inch and 15-inch – both with HD (1366 x 768 pixels) resolution and maximum brightness of 200 nits. The notebook runs Windows 8.1.
Lenovo ideapad 100 is outfitted with up to 8 GB of RAM, 500 GB of HDD space or SSD up to 128 GB. Connectivity options include: one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0, HDMI output, RJ-45 networking port, an audio connector and a 4-in-1 memory card reader. As for communications, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 modules are available.
The 30 Wh battery allows for up to 4 hours of operations. The 14-inch version is 20.2 mm thin while the 15-inch one is 0.4 mm thicker. The laptop weighs 4.19 lbs (14-inch) or 5.07 lbs (15-inch).
With prices starting at $249, the ideapad 100 will be available in June.
