Huawei's flagship smartphone could be the Ascend D3
Ever since Huawei's slim Ascend P7 was announced it was assumed to be the company's flagship device for the year, yet that may not be the case. A new image has popped up showing the Ascend D3, and its design could make it the jewel of Huawei's collection.
The successor to last year's Ascend D2 was leaked via Chinese site, MyDrivers, and it appears to have almost no bezels across the side and minimal bezels on the top and bottom. The device's style harkens to that of the HTC One, but unfortunately there is no mention of exactly how large the display will be.
The report also lists some of the specs we can expect on the Ascend D3, including a 1080p resolution and an octa-core Kirin 920 CPU by HiSilicon that is reportedly just as powerful as Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801. The smartphone is rumored to be coming to China in June for $469, but an international rollout is also expected sometime thereafter.
