Months of leaks and rumors later, Huawei has announced that the P10 Lite is coming to the UK on March 31st for £299 ($370). This mid-tier phone is the more affordable variant of the Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus, which cost £549 ($677) and £649 (~$800), respectively.
Inside the P10 Lite is a 2.5D double-sided glass design, 5.2-inch 1920x1080-pixel IPS display and a Kirin 658 SoC with 16nm octa-core CPU. In addition to that, it has 4 GB of memory and a 3,000 mAh battery with fast-charge technology that allegedly provides a full charge in 90 minutes. As for photo-taking ability, the P10 Lite is no slouch either with a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Keep in mind that the camera is a single-sensor one, unlike those found on the P10 and P10 Plus.
Huawei is also including a feature called “Knuckle Sense Technology” which allows for knuckle taps to be interpreted differently from finger taps to create additional shortcuts. The P10 Lite runs the latest build of EMUI 5.1 which includes Android Nougat, and can be pre-ordered today in the UK from retailers such as Vodaphone and Carphone Warehouse in both black and gold variants.
