HTC One M8 Ace photos surface ahead of June 3rd launch
The HTC One M8 Ace is scheduled to launch on the 3rd of next month, joining the HTC One Mini 2 and the HTC One M8 in the company's lineup. Now a number of promotional material has managed to find its way to the Chinese blogosphere, and we have a better idea of what to expect.
Though the Ace takes many design cues from the flagship HTC One M8, it appears to be furnished from an entirely plastic shell and features a seemingly curvier back. The One M8's dual-camera setup also appears to be missing, though the Ace does manage to pack a single 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front one. A 5.5", 1920x1080 pixel display will also grace the front, with a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 CPU working behind the scenes.
The leaked materials also indicate that the One M8 Ace will debut in four colors- red, white, blue and black. There are also references to Boom Sound stereo speakers, energy efficiency and a possible water-repellent coating, but due to the lack of English in the images we'll have to wait for HTC's official announcement for all the details.
