The HP Envy 14 variant (EB0021TX) that I tested was priced at Rs. 1,24,999 at the time of this review. It's expensive, sure, but compared to its rivals, the Envy 14 does offer slightly better value. The Dell XPS 13 for instance is also priced the same, but with half the SSD capacity and no discrete GPU. Then there's the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon, another Ultrabook based on Intel's Evo platform, which costs less than the Envy 14 and has nearly the same specs plus a QHD display, but again, no GPU. I think the HP Envy 14 strikes a good balance of portability, performance, and battery life, making it a very good Ultrabook to consider. It's not possible to directly compare it to the MacBook Pro 13 (M1) since both of them run on different software platforms and CPU architectures, but if you're looking for a Windows-based alternative, the Envy 14 is a strong contender. A few things to keep in mind are that it is a bit heavy and it takes some effort to open the lid. The quality of the webcam is also a bit disappointing.

Are content creators going to be satisfied with this product? Probably yes. It has a decent battery life, and processors, that are really capable of photo-editing. Given the efficiency of the cooling solution, it remains unclear why HP didn’t opt for the more powerful 45W iterations of the Tiger Lake family. A six, or eight-core CPU would have made this device irresistible. Ultimately, buying this laptop is not a bad choice. It is extremely cool under load, and photo editing will be an easy task. It can be a pretty life-like experience as well if you opt for our Gaming and Web design profile. However, if you want to reap the benefits of an OLED display, the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (UX5401, 11th Gen) is a great alternative. Also, if you would like to throw in a bit more cash, you should seriously consider the MacBook 14 Pro.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q: Mid range dedicated graphics card for laptops that uses a Turing TU117 chip without raytracing and Tensor cores. Runs at reduced clock speeds compared to a laptop GTX 1650 Ti to achieve a much lower power consumption (35 versus 50 - 80 Watt).
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU: Mid-range gaming laptop graphics card based on the Ampere GA107 chip. Offers 2048 shaders and is offered in different TGP (power consumption) variants from 35 to 80 Watt with different clock speeds and therefore performance.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs: Integrated graphics card in Intel Tiger Lake G4 SoCs based on the new Gen. 12 architecture with 96 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock rate depends on the processor model. The Tiger Lake chips are produced in the modern 10nm+ process at Intel.
