Google has already confirmed when it will launch the Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5, the company's second and third smartphones of 2020. The two devices will arrive on September 30, but a BT listing suggests that it will be another few weeks before they will be available to order. BT has now taken down its listing, but we grabbed a screenshot before the company did so.
Firstly, the BT listing corroborates that the white version of the Pixel 4a (5G) bears the model number GA01946. According to BT, the Pixel 4a (5G) will be available from October 15 for £499. Google has effectively confirmed the pricing of the Pixel 4a (5G) already, but the release date of October 15 is new. It is worth pointing out that this is the white model, which Jon Prosser claimed would arrive slightly later than the black version of the Pixel 4a (5G).
Nonetheless, an October 15 release date in the UK and a September 30 announcement would be in keeping with Google's past product launches. Google France stated that the Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5 would be available to pre-order on the same day, so it should follow that an October 15 release date will probably apply to the Pixel 5 too. Google will also release the Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5 in the following nine countries:
- Australia
- Canada
- France
- Germany
- Japan
- Ireland
- Taiwan
- United States
- United Kingdom
