Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 to ship this Sunday
Samsung first announced their pair of 12.2" behemoths at CES in January, and with the Galaxy Note Pro having made its debut last month, it's now the Galaxy Tab Pro's turn. Samsung today announced that the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 will hit retail and online stores on Sunday the 9th of March, with a starting price tag of $649.
Featuring a 2560x1600 resolution, the Tab Pro is identical to the Note Pro except for a lack of S-Pen stylus support and software. Otherwise, the device runs Android 4.4 KitKat, comes with 32GB of storage and is powered by an octa-core or quad-core CPU depending on Wi-Fi or LTE options.
According to Samsung, the device will be available in stores such as Best Buy, Newegg and Amazon as well as their own online store. In addition, the Tab Pro comes bundled with over $800 of digital content as part of the Galaxy Perks program, which includes Google Play credit, a 3 month Hulu Plus trial and other subscriptions.
