Galaxy A55 design and specifications revealed in full by new leak
The Samsung Galaxy A55 is all set to succeed the Galaxy A54 5G (US$300 on Amazon) in Q4 2024. Little is known about its innards other than the fact that it could use an Exynos 1480 SoC with an AMD GPU, the first mid-range AP of its kind. MySmartPrice has now obtained high-quality renders of the Galaxy A55 and also revealed its spec sheet in full.
Samsung has stuck with its time-tested design, with no visible changes to the overall chassis. It is marginally long at 161.1 mm x 77.3 mm x 8.2 mm, something that the naked eye won't notice. You get the quintessential vertically-stacked triple camera array at the back, a hole-punch selfie camera at the front, a USB-C port and the usual arrangement of a volume rocker and power button.
However, the Galaxy A55 uses a slightly larger FHD+ 6.5-inch AMOLED vs (6.4-in on the Galaxy A54) panel clocked at 120 Hz. That's about all that's different, though. Everything else, including the 5,000 mAh battery (25 W fast charging support), 256 GB max storage, 8 GB RAM, 32 MP selfie camera and 50+12+5 MP rear camera sensors, are identical.
