GPD teases imminent Win Mini Ultra launch with Intel-powered hardware

It's no secret that GPD has been working on a new gaming handheld called the Win Mini Ultra. After all, there's a dedicated channel for the device on the official Discord server. While the company hasn't formally revealed any specs yet, it has reshared a podcast from Handhelds United on its Weibo account.
In the Weibo post, GPD has also confirmed that the gaming handheld will be powered by the Intel Arc G3 Extreme, something a recent leak had already pointed to. The brand didn't explicitly confirm any other specs in the post, but it has teased that the launch is around the corner.
Looking back, the recent Win Mini Ultra leak suggests the device will come with 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a 2280 M.2 SSD slot. It also points to the display being an 8-inch IPS panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Adaptive Sync.
This display will reportedly have a 1200p resolution, an upgrade over the 1080p screen found on the 2025 Win Mini. Per the leak, this new GPD gaming handheld will come with a decent port selection, including two USB4 v2 ports, and the cooling setup is said to allow up to 45W TDP mode.
Other notable highlights from the leak include 100W PD fast charging support (Anker 140W charger curr. $79.99 on Amazon) and a 56Wh battery. There's no official word on the price yet, but the Win Mini Ultra is expected to be more affordable than the AMD Ryzen HX 370-powered GPD Win Mini 2025.
