Deal | Free McDonald's McNuggets on offer for Apple Pay customers with latest promo

If you're in the mood for a quick bite and don't mind some free nuggets, Apple Pay has you covered. In a new promotion, Apple Pay users in select locations get a free six-piece Chicken McNuggets for a minimum spend of US$1 in the McDonald's app.

In an email shared with Apply Pay users, Apple said,

Order ahead and save. Get a free 6 Piece Chicken McNuggets® with any minimum $1 purchase in the McDonald’s app with Apple Pay, through April 11.*"

So, just buying a drink or fries for US$1 can get you some free McNuggets. However, there are some caveats.

Firstly, the offer is limited only to participating restaurants. You'll also need to select it in the "Deals" page of the mobile app and opt-in to McDonald's Rewards.

The offer is valid till April 11 and can be availed once per user. Though McDonald's is the only outlet currently listed for the promo, you can still make use of food deliver options such as DoorDash, Gopuff, Seamless, and Uber Eats.

In related news, Apple also recently announced Apple Pay Later for select US customers. Apple Pay Later gets users credit from US$50 to a maximum of US$1,000, which can be used at all Apple Pay merchants. 

However, unlike a conventional credit card that allows for higher loans and up to 30 days of interest-free repayment, Apple Pay requires users to pay 25% of the loan once every two weeks i.e., in four biweekly installments.
