Fanatec announces CSL Elite line of racing peripherals

Fanatec's ultra premium racing accessories have earned them an outstanding reputation among racing sim enthusiasts. Their racing wheels and pedals offer great mechanical feedback, precision and comfort, and are constructed from high-end materials. Unlike Logitech and Thrustmaster who offer products aimed at everyday gamers, Fanatec caters primarily to the enthusiast crowd and this ambition is reflected in the prices of their products.

To remedy this issue, Fanatec are introducing the CSL Elite line of racing peripherals for the mainstream. Peripherals from the CSL series are still constructed according to Fanatec's high standards, but some compromises will be made with cheaper materials in certain areas to reduce costs. Otherwise, the CSL Elite Wheel Base and Pedals provide an experience on par with Fanatec's higher end Clubsport series of accessories with realistic brake resistance.

Fanatec has bundled all the new accessories as well as the formerly released steering wheel as the CSL Elite Wheel Assetto Corsa Edition. A free copy of Assetto Corsa for XBOX One is also included for buyers who pre-order. The bundle is available for $639.85 with shipments beginning late October.
