The Epic Games Store Black Friday sale is now live and will run until December 2nd, 11 am EST, with a particular focus on the premium editions of some of the hottest titles on the market. Gamers can expect significant discounts on the complete editions of their wishlisted games, though, obviously, the prices won’t be as low as for the standard editions, because the content offered surpasses the base game, including access to season passes, skins, DLC, XP bonuses, and other cosmetic and in-game rewards.

That’s not all, however; Epic has also bolstered its Epic Rewards program considerably. The program, as described by the company, is one “where you earn rewards for any Epic Games Store purchase or any purchases you make in games using Epic‘s payment system on PC, iOS, Android, and the web. You can spend your rewards in Fortnite and our other games or on the Epic Games Store when you use Epic’s payment system.”
Players can now permanently get 20% back when purchasing in Fortnite, Rocket League, and Fall Guys, with Epic’s Payment system, as a bonus, a store-wide 20% increase in points rewarded for any purchase on Epic’s payment system, which will last till January 8th, 2026. For regular shoppers and those looking to score bargains, this essentially offers a 20% discount on their current or future purchases, depending on how often they buy games on the Epic Games Storefront. One should note, however, that said points will eventually expire 25 months after they are earned.
Game gifting is finally on the Epic Games Store
Epic Games Store has finally enabled a long-requested feature, the ability to gift games. Players will now be able to gift games to friends, earn (temporarily increased) points from the transaction, and, in turn, use those points to purchase and gift games. The recipients have 14 days to accept the gift; otherwise, it will be refunded. They also have the option to reject the gift, which results in the same outcome. If a player already owns a game that was gifted to them, they won’t be allowed to accept the gift, resulting in an automatic refund. To prevent abuse, players are also restricted from gifting free games, pre-purchase offers, subscriptions, and in-game currency or other consumable items.
