This very popular, free community-driven distribution of Android is now compatible with nine additional handsets, including the OnePlus One flagship killer, Nexus 6, Moto G 2015, and OnePlus Two.
CyanogenMod 14.1 arrived for the wide public last week and now this Android build has just added support for the second batch of handsets. Thanks to this new ROM, Android 7.1 Nougat finds its way to more smartphones that Google has no plans to support. CyanogenMod 14.1 already works with older flagships like the LG G3 or Samsung Galaxy S5.
This is the list with all the nine new handsets supported by CyanogenMod 14.1: Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (2013) WiFi and 4G variants, OnePlus One, OnePlus 2, Sony Xperia V, Sony Xperia TX, Sony Xperia T, Sony Xperia SP, Moto G(2015).
Android 7.1-based CyanogenMod 14.1 is still being developed, so bugs and missing features might show up here and there. Fortunately, more improvements should arrive soon. Just stay tuned for more updates, we are sure to see at least one more refresh of this Android ROM before the end of the year.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
