Affordable smartphones always involve compromises, and the Cubot Note 40 is no exception. Therefore, it is commendable that the manufacturer did not sacrifice the build quality and design when developing this model. It is also worth noting the decent speed of the interface, good battery life, and stable performance with wireless networks, features that were lacking in budget smartphones in the past. However, if high-quality photos and videos from built-in cameras are essential for you, it may be worth considering smartphones that are priced twice or thrice as much.

The Cubot Note 40 is an impressive budget-friendly smartphone that successfully combines a sleek iPhone 12-inspired design with solid features and performance. Priced at just $99, it offers an affordable alternative for those looking to own a stylish and capable smartphone without breaking the bank. It might not be a flagship killer or even a middle-range phone, but it offers great value for everyday use. It looks stylish with a user-friendly interface, stunning display, impressive battery life, user-friendly features, and robust gaming capabilities making it a standout in the budget smartphone category. It proves that a premium experience can be offered at an affordable price. Nevertheless, it’s crucial to consider the compromises that come hand-in-hand with the budget-friendly price tag. The device’s performance is best suited for basic tasks, and its camera system, while functional, lacks versatility and quality.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.

This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
