Casio's Edifice EFV-650D chronograph has dropped to $75.45 on Amazon, an all-time low on Keepa and roughly 31 percent under its 90-day average. The 43.5 mm steel case holds 100 meters WR and a screw-lock back, but Amazon ships it in one to two months.

Casio’s Edifice EFV-650D has fallen to $75.45 on Amazon, and Keepa has never recorded it lower. The price landed on October 11. Over the previous 90 days the watch has averaged $109.60, and over 180 days, $107.10. So the new price takes about $34 off what it has actually been selling for, which comes out to near 31 percent.

Amazon itself advertises 37 percent off a $120 list price, and for once, that figure survives a check. Casio’s own US store sells the EFV-650D at $120 today. Keepa shows Amazon charging exactly that on September 28. Nobody has inflated a list price to discount it.

There is a catch, however. We didn't catch it at first, but the listing says "usually ships within 1 to 2 months." Amazon quotes delivery between November 8 and December 9. You pay today and the watch turns up in a month at the earliest. If you're okay with that, this is a great deal.

What you'll get is a steel chronograph measuring 43.5 mm across, 48.6 mm lug to lug and 11 mm thick, weighing 128 g. Three subdials handle 24-hour time, stopwatch minutes and stopwatch seconds, with a date window alongside. The stopwatch runs to 59 minutes 59 seconds in one-second steps, with split and 1st-2nd place modes.

Water resistance is 100 meters and the caseback screws down. That is much more than what $75 normally buys you. The glass is mineral, which is what you give up instead of sapphire. Quartz accuracy is plus or minus 20 seconds a month, and an SR920SW cell runs the watch for roughly two years.

Another number might help make your decision easier. Used copies for this Edifice model have averaged $94.44 across the past 90 days, and none are in stock right now. Buying this one new costs about $19 less than the typical used price. Check it out on Amazon here.
