All five colors of the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Headphones (2nd Gen) are on sale at Amazon following a 16-percent discount from their MSRP of $449, including the Black, Desert Gold, Driftwood Sand, Midnight Violet, and White variants.

QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen) offers Bluetooth 5.4 wireless and 3.5 mm wired connectivity to audio sources. The battery is rated for up to 23 hours of runtime in Immersive mode and up to 30 hours in Quiet mode, and they can quick charge in 15 minutes to add 3 hours of runtime, says Bose. The headphones are fitted with plush ear cushions and a padded headband for comfort.

The headphones incorporate Bose's best active noise cancellation, resulting in "stellar noise isolation" according to Rtings, which is ideal when gaming or listening to music in noisy environments. They also come with Bose Immersive Audio and Cinema mode, with personalized CustomTune sound tuning to optimize audio reproduction for the wearer's ears.

As a con, the competing 2026 Sony WH-1000XM6 (on sale for $398 on Amazon) ranks slightly better than the 2025 Bose for active noise cancelling performance thanks to its 12-microphone ANC system. The Sony also comes with Hi-Res Audio certification thanks to its LDAC audio codec support and DSEE Extreme AI restoration of high-frequencies in lossy music sources.
