Reviews for the Bluboo S8
1/6th the price, 1/6th the performance. Bluboo is capitalizing on the Galaxy S8 craze with its own copycat version for $150 USD. The Bluboo S8 would have been quite impressive if it weren't for some deep faults.

Bluboo definitely did try to usher its products in a price range that is slowly getting crowded, but sadly the S8 doesn’t bring with it anything striking to stand out from the crowd. While it does have the design cues and feel of some of the market’s prominent flagships, its performance leaves something to be desired. What the company does offer is a device with a premium feel, USB Type-C connectivity, and an overall average performance at a sub-10k price. At a price of Php 7,499, other competitors, including their very own S1 which is just a few hundred pesos more, might offer better performance and features.

Well, if you’re interested in the Bluboo S8, I highly suggest that you grab yours from Banggood.com. It now retails for $134.99 or P7099, and I’d be hard-pressed to not recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relatively cheap smartphone that does well on a day-to-day basis.

The Bluboo S8 is one of those phones with good specifications, the main feature is the similarity it carries with the original model of the Galaxy S8. But if we overlook this detail, then we will have no problem in realizing that it has an impressive design and build quality, good usability and obviously its magnificent “Infinity Style” screen with 18: 9 aspect ratio and dazzling brightness during the day.

It is a very small display format for smartphones. You should by no means be mis-sighted and you will generally see very little on the screen and only have a small resolution available. In return, the device should be very small and handy.

In 2009, the Shenzhen Huihua Exploit Technology Co LTD established the brand Bluboo in Hong Kong. The brand is focused on smartphones.
Internationally, the brand is not too important. There are hardly any reviews, and in the few cases, the rating is rather underwhelming (as of 2016).
72.5%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
