Pros
Cons
The Blackview Xplore 2 is a rugged smartphone positioned as an all‑in‑one work, entertainment, and creative device, highlighted by its integrated projector and AI‑driven apps. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC with Mali‑G615 MP6 graphics, up to 16 GB RAM, and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage, delivering solid mid‑high range performance. The 6.73‑inch AMOLED display offers a sharp 3200 x 1440 resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, backed by a massive 20,000 mAh battery. Connectivity is extensive, including Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, 5G, dual‑SIM, GPS, and multiple sensors plus a fingerprint reader. However, the phone is exceptionally bulky and heavy at 670 g, with a 29 mm thickness, a direct consequence of its rugged build and projector module. Reviewers praise its versatility and AI features but criticize the limited 480p projector resolution and conclude with an overall average rating of about 70%, suggesting it suits niche users more than the mainstream market.

Every rugged smartphone has to have a relatively unique feature, and in the case of this slightly oversized model, it's the built-in projector and a host of AI features and apps. They make this a perfect option if you want an all-in-one creative and entertainment tool, or an easy way to project presentation work in a single, portable device. Projection smartphones are relatively niche, with size and weight bolstered by the integration of the projection module and battery required to run it. However, while the Xplorer 2 Projector is one of the largest smartphones on the market, it offers decent performance across the board, and there's no denying that the AI creative features are impressive. it's just a shame the projector is only 480p resolution.
