A fresh exclusive report shows the upcoming BlackBerry KEY2 LE in blue/blue black and reiterates the specs mentioned by the latest rumors: Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 2 GB of memory, 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage, 13 MP + 5 MP dual camera setup on the back, a 3,000 mAh battery, and Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

While the official confirmation has not arrived yet, what appears to be a press render of the upcoming BlackBerry KEY2 LE has surfaced in an exclusive report by Nieuwemobiel. As its name suggests, this handset will debut as a lighter (both specs- and price-wise) version of the BlackBerry KEY2 which arrived back in June.

The most interesting part is that the KEY2 LE will bring a new color to the table since the regular edition only comes in black or silver. The dark blue/blue black/whatever it will be called color option comes because the BlackBerry KEY2 LE will be an all-plastic device, although it is expected to have the same size as its sibling.

The specs and features we know of at this time include a 4.5-inch display with 1,080 x 1,620 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 2 GB of memory, 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage space, 13 MP + 5 MP main camera setup (down from a 12 MP pair on the back of the BlackBerry KEY2), a 3,000 mAh battery (down from 3,500 mAh), and Android 8.1 Oreo (hopefully the Android 9.0 Pie update will arrive before the end of 2018).

The BlackBerry KEY2 LE is expected to be unveiled at the end of the month in Berlin, at IFA 2018. Until then, we will probably bump into a few more leaks and rumors, so stay tuned.
