Audemars Piguet launches three Minute Repeater Supersonnerie watches. The release includes two 42mm Royal Oak models and a 41mm Code 11.59 powered by Calibre 2953.

Audemars Piguet expanded its chiming range on November 2, 2026, with three new Minute Repeater Supersonnerie watches. Two are Royal Oak models and one is a Code 11.59; all three use the brand’s patented Supersonnerie acoustic technology.

Two Royal Oak cases and a white gold Code 11.59

The 42 mm Royal Oak line gains a titanium version and, for the first time, an 18-karat pink gold one. Both cases are 14 mm thick and paired with an integrated bracelet in the same metal and an AP folding clasp. Both keep the signature alternation of satin-brushed and polished surfaces.

The titanium model has a smoked green sunburst dial that darkens toward the edges, a small green seconds counter, white gold hands, and silver-toned pink gold hour markers filled with luminescent material. The pink gold model has a brown Grande Tapisserie dial, a brown small seconds counter, and pink gold hands and hour markers.

The Code 11.59 is a 41 mm, 18-karat white gold watch that measures 13.6 mm thick. It has a polished case middle, a double-curved sapphire crystal, and a smoked sapphire dial that exposes the movement. A grey alligator strap with a white gold folding clasp completes it. The design revisits the Code 11.59 Minute Repeater Supersonnerie, first released in 2023. All three watches are water-resistant to 20 meters.

Caliber 2953 and the Supersonnerie system

Each watch runs on the hand-wound Caliber 2953, which is 30 mm across and 6 mm thick and contains 362 parts and 32 jewels. It beats at 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) and offers a minimum power reserve of 72 hours. The movement is shared by the Royal Oak and Code 11.59 collections.

Supersonnerie debuted in 2016 in the Royal Oak Concept after eight years of development involving watchmakers, musicians, and researchers from EPFL, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne. The system combines patented gongs mounted on a soundboard, a dedicated case construction, and a new regulator to raise volume and tone. On the Code 11.59, the caseback doubles as the soundboard.

Pricing and availability

Due to the labor-intensive acoustic tuning process, Audemars Piguet limits production volumes and restricts availability exclusively to its brand houses and boutiques. Official pricing is set at roughly $398,477 for the white gold Code 11.59, $430,478 for the titanium Royal Oak, and $479,889 for the pink gold Royal Oak, excluding local taxes. Prices at time of publication.
