Cheap price, cheap chassis. There is nothing about this VivoBook that makes it stand out from the crowded 15-inch multimedia segment. When considering the target market and inexpensive price, however, the dull impression shouldn't be a problem. We're hoping that future revisions will address the poor keyboard while adding in USB Type-C charging.

Asus VivoBook 15 F505ZA-BQ117T

Sharing many similar traits with its VivoBook siblings regardless of their serial numeric numbers, the Asus VivoBook 15 comes in a bigger size and bigger power for those who require an extra oomph on long-term projects or to bask in mere leisure activities alone. The Asus VivoBook 15 not only comes with a selection of an attractive array of colors, it also houses staggering core specifications that are guaranteed to knock things straight out of the park. In order to flesh out everything on what the Asus VivoBook 15 is capable of, we must look no further than the device itself with a keen and introspective eye. First and foremost, the Asus VivoBook 15 has a 15.6-inch NanoEdge display. The 7.7 millimeters of bezel made possible a screen-to-body ratio of 81 %. The whole screen is terrific for viewing stunning landscapes and visual aesthetics as if it was a part of the outdoor environment itself. The Asus VivoBook 15 also introduces the imagery-enhancing Asus Splendid, which is a visual optimization technology with different modes. Normal mode is the default visual display for mundane tasks. Eye Care mode reduces blue-light levels for the comfort of the eyes. The fully customizable Manual mode passes on the liberty of tweaking visual effects to the user’s own liking. The Asus VivoBook 15 features their company brand’s very own SuperBattery technology, which provides up to three times longer battery life than normal. With the Asus SuperBattery system, any high-quality battery is complemented by the Battery Health Charging technology. The innovative Battery Health Charging reduces the battery expansion rate in order to preserve its condition and promote a longer overall life span. Moreover, the SuperBattery technology can charge the Asus VivoBook 15 up to 60 % in just under 50 minutes. The Asus VivoBook 15 by technical default is a Windows 10 laptop powered by the latest generation AMD Ryzen processor with up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM alongside the AMD Radeon Vega graphics processor. These set of processors hailing from Ryzen are commonly associated and found in low-end performance gaming laptops. The Ryzen 3 in particular is capable of clocking at 3.5 GHz and it is one of the available processors in the industry to feature built-in graphics. The integration of Ryzen processor units in the Asus VivoBook 15 further entails to the fact that it is more than capable of sustaining games that are in demand while still able to cater on more important and prioritized tasks concerning work.
