Asus Eee PC 1015PX with Pineview now shipping

The 10.1-inch netbook to come in two flavors, available now online for around $320

The Asus Eee PC 1015PX has been available for pre-order since the beginning of April, but the netbook is now shipping in the U.S.

The 10.1-inch Asus is equipped with a 1.66GHz dual-core Atom N570, one of Intel’s latest Atom iterations. In fact, the 1015PX is one of the few netbooks currently available to sport the Pineview CPU. Other than the processor, the netbook will come with a 1024x600 resolution screen, 1GB RAM, 250GB HDD, and the standard wireless, USB 2.0, and card reader options. The laptop weighs in at just 2.76 pounds (1.25kg) .

More interestingly, the Eee PC 101PX comes in two variants, the 1015PX-MU17 and 1015PX-PU17. The only known difference will be the included battery, however, as the latter will provide up to 11 hours of battery life, one hour longer than the former.

Both models of the Eee PC101PX can be found online for about $320 and $350. As is common with many lines of netbooks, there will be black, white, red, and blue color options available.
