Apple releases new upgraded travel adapter kit

A new version of the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit has been released. The original version of this charging kit, launched in the early noughties, was discontinued in 2025. The upgraded product is designed to work with the latest versions of the Apple 70W Power Adapter and 140W Power Adapter.

Apple’s new World Travel Adapter Kit allows you to convert your AC plug for use in many countries worldwide. The five swappable AC plugs are Type A for North America and Japan, Type C for Europe and Brazil, Type D for India, Type G for the UK, UAE and Singapore, and Type I for Australia and New Zealand.

Both the refreshed Apple World Travel Adapter Kit and the two power adapters use the brand’s new AC Connector 2. This new system for the interchangeable plug, or duckhead, is said to have been refreshed due to “updated regulations”. The design has been switched from a notched element to a pill-shaped component.

You can now buy the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit for $39/£39/€45. The product can be purchased at the Apple Store or at third-party retailers like Amazon US.
