Anno 2070 Benchmarks

In the following article we will take a look at Anno 2070 of various desktop and laptop systems.

How We Test

We use the demo of Anno 2070 and benchmark the intro of the first mission till the name of the mission appears on the screen and the user is able to play the game. The average framerate captured with Fraps is then taken.

Analysis of the Benchmarks

To avoid stuttering you should achieve more then 40 fps on average in our benchmark. However, as the RTS game is also playable with some stutterung and low frame rates, even 25 fps may be sufficient for some gamers.

Therefore, Anno 2070 in low details should run on any modern system even with integrated graphics cards like the Intel HD Graphics 3000.

For much more beautiful medium to high details you will need a fast mid-range laptop graphics card.

Maximum details and full HD resolution settings does stress even modern systems quite a bit. Therefore, you will need a high end desktop GPU to play Anno 2070 fluently in these settings.
