Allview's P6 Energy: 5-inch smartphone with a 5000mAh battery priced at 190 Euro
Romanian company Allview recently announced the brand new Allview P6 Energy smartphone. The latest addition to Allview's mobile line-up is a smartphone that, as the name implies, was designed with a focus on battery life.
The AllView P6 Energy features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, while the processing power is provided by an undisclosed quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz per core. On the memory side, the Allview P6 Energy comes with a single GB of RAM, as well as 8GB of integrated storage space. Customers who need more storage space for their music, photos, and documents, can expand the internal storage by up to 32GB using the embedded microSD card slot.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Allview P6 Energy comes with an 8MP primary camera as well as a 2MP secondary shooter. Other specs include WiFi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi Direct, and a microUSB 2.0 port. All of this internal hardware will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that should last two days on a single charge. This large autonomy is the selling point for the P6 Energy. On the software side, the P6 Energy runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat, with no word on a potential update to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Although these specs may seem a bit mediocre, we should also bear in mind that the P6 Energy is priced at 190 Euros, which translates into about $220 at the current conversion rates.
